ESCRIBIR CON CREATIVIDAD: PROPUESTAS PRÁCTICAS PARA LA EXPRESIÓN ESCRITA DESDE LA ESCRITURA CREATIVA
María Rosa Martín-Peñasco Hurtado / University of Minho
ABSTRACT
The practice of written expression in the Spanish as a Foreign Language class often leads to some rejection from both students and teachers. The former don't often find it appealing, whereas the later find it takes up too much class time, which explains the reduced attention this skill often receives. This workshop aimed to provide a global perspective of the importance of written expression, not just as an activity for interpersonal communication, but also intrapersonal; and also of how creative writing can be extremely useful when presenting motivating activities, appropriate for intra and inter-personal writers, thus providing a means for effective learning. The main challenge presented by this kind of activity relates to its integration with the rest of contents and skills that should be approached in class, which is what the last part of this workshop was devoted to.
