LENGUA Y CULTURA EN LA CLASE DE ELE: DESARROLLO DE PROPUESTAS DIDÁCTICAS DESDE UN MARCO COMUNICATIVO ACTUAL
Esteban La Paz Barbarich / Universidad de Zaragoza
ABSTRACT
The main goal of this work is to develop, share and evaluate learning tasks for the Spanish as a second / foreign language (SSL) class. In order to do so, a series of theoretical and practical considerations will be taken into account–namely: the characterization of communicate competence, the 5 Cs proposal (World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages, 2015), and the concept of task as stated by different authors–, showing the close relationship among the aforementioned questions, as well as the role that they play in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL [2001] 2002) and the Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes (PCIC, 2006). Next, a didactic proposal articulating the previously mentioned aspects will be presented, the aim of which is to introduce Spanish learners to a sociocultural practice of the Uruguayan people: the drinking of mate. Finally, after presenting and discussing the tasks designed by the workshop participants (which are included in the Appendix), other suggestions for evaluating possible learning tasks will be offered.
